    Description

    For sale is this Silver Antique Ash Tray. I am unsure of the age but I believe it was definitely before 1940.  It is very ornate with a ornate handle. In excellent condition. Dutch Crafted. 3 7/8 inches across at the diagonal. Ashtray has many Hallmarks on it. (see photos) It has the Dutch Lion mark used after 1814 which from online research told me it stands for at least .833 silver purity. Also has The rectangle punch mark with B2V* for makers mark for: J.M Visser (Bijkamp & Co.c.v). Registered from 1946 / 1975. City of Steenwijk, The Netherlands. I also photographed other punch marks.
