This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this unusual vintage postcard is a photo portrait of a little girl and her much loved Chihuahua.
On the back is a handwritten message in Dutch, an address in the Netherlands, 4 cent Nederland stamp and a faded postmark.  The postcard was originally made in the Italy circa 1948.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from a few signs of surface wear, this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
