    This cross is made from wild plum wood that grows wild in the nearby woods.  It has an unusual and unique mix of color and pattern.
    The width of the vertical and horizontal pieces is 1 1/2" to 2".  Th
    e
    vertical piece and cross arm are attached with a lap joint and a screw.  The plum wood base is
    attached
    with 2 screws.
    No stain has been applied.  A clear
    finish has been applied to the whole cross to enhance the grain and make the cross easier to dust and clean.
