This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this beautiful vintage postcard is a sepia portrait of a gorgeous Smooth Fox Terrier sitting next to his doghouse.
At the top is a short manufacturer's message in Dutch.    On the back is some handwriting in Dutch, an address in the Netherlands, a 1 cent Netherlands stamp and a faded postmark.     The postcard was originally made in the Netherlands and it dates back to about 1905.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from very few signs of surface wear, this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
