This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this vintage  postcard is a rare art portrait of a Smooth Fox Terrier Mom, her 3 puppies and a cat or kitten.
On the back is a handwritten message in Dutch, an address in the Netherlands and a faded Netherlands postmark.  This postcard was originally made in Germany and bears what appears to be a 1904 postmark.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from a few signs of surface wear, this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
