Rare Dog Postcard Ruwharige Wire Fox Terrier c1955 Netherlands

This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this vintage postcard is a photo portrait of a gorgeous Wire Fox Terrier.  Next to the portrait is what looks like a manufacturer's message that says:  "Ruwharige Terrier".    Ruwharige Terrier in Dutch means Wirehaired Terrier.
On the back is a very short handwritten message, a handwritten address in the Netherlands and a place with some glue residue that might once have displayed a stamp and a faded postmark.  I do not know the place of origin for sure or the date.  My best guess is 1940s.  Around the perimeter is a lovely scalloped edge.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from some signs of surface wear, this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
