This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this vintage  postcard is a rare portrait of 2 Terriers.  They appear to be best friends.   Below the portrait is a manufacturer's message that says:  "THE FOX & SKYE TERRIERS".  They are nestled closely together and the scene is heartwarming and timeless!  Neither of them look like they are ready to win a dog show but both of them look well loved!!!
On the back is no handwriting, stamp or postmark.  This postcard was never mailed.   It was originally made in the Netherlands circa 1935.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from some signs of surface wear (mostly on the back), this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
