Rare Dog Grooming Postcard Wire Fox Terrier & Child + Poem Belgium 1905 Reward

This card was purchased in Antwerp, Belgium by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
The title of this postcard is:   "
The Grooming of Pataud
". It was part of a series of postcards about a Wire Fox Terrier  named Pataud.    On the front of this vintage postcard is a photo portrait of a delightful Fox Terrier and a beautiful little girl.  The little girl has just grooming Pataud's beard and has just presented him with a dish of treats.  In spite of a bad attitude Pataud was a good boy and the grooming apparently went well.     Under the portrait is a poem in French.    Here is an English translation of that poem:
"
Fi done!
The disobedient
who doesn’t want to be groomed
Pataud little coquettish, very greedy,
Rushes onto the plate.
"
Near the top on the front someone has handwritten a name.  On the back is a handwritten address in Belgium, a Belgian stamp and a faded postmark that is probably 1905.    It was originally made in Belgium.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from some signs of surface wear, this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
