This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this vintage postcard is a photo portrait of a delightful Fox Terrier or Jack Russell Terrier puppy. This pup is absolutely ADORABLE!  On the back is a long handwritten message but no stamp or postmark.  The postcard was never mailed.  It was originally made in the Netherlands circa 1950 by Amag. During the 1940s, 50s and early 1960s...scalloped edges on postcards were popular in Europe..especially the Netherlands.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from very few signs of surface wear, this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
