  • Condition: This vase is in good pre-owned condition. I believe it is made of low-fired clay, and painted, rather than glazed. The white bottom looks dirty and discolored, but it did not come clean with scrubbing, so I believe it is stained.

    Description

    This is a handmade clay vase. It is about 8" tall, and about 4.75" in diameter at its widest point. The body of the piece is comb textured in a fan or wave pattern, and has a multicolored, iridescent finish, with shades of pink, red, orange, blue, green, and yellow. It has nearly every color of the rainbow. The top of the piece is smooth black. There are 2 brass colored metal wires around the neck of the vase.
    I believe the vase is made of a low-fired clay, and has been painted rather than glazed. I do not think it is meant for use with water, but for dry or fake flowers.
    This vase is in good pre-owned condition. There is a small area that looks chipped on the top rim, but it is under the paint. The white bottom looks dirty and discolored, but it did not come clean with scrubbing, so I believe it is stained.
