This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this vintage postcard is a photo portrait of 3 delightful Terrier puppies and a kitten.   Thehese four look like best friends!  The Terriers are a Wire Fox Terrier, a Lakeland Terrier and a Smooth Jack Russell Terrier.
On the back is a very short handwritten message, a handwritten address in the Netherlands, a place with some glue residue that might once have displayed a stamp and a faded postmark.  I do not know the place of origin for sure or the date.  My best guess is mid 1930s.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from some signs of surface wear, this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
