    This is a barely-used OWC Mercury Elite Pro Quad 4 Bay USB 3.1 Gen 2 Drive enclosure that was bought new for a specific project that never went past initial config of the unit, doubt this unit has 12 hours on it. What you see is what you get, pic is actual item. Everything working exactly as it should. The 4 empty bays (no drives included) support both 3.5" and 2.5" SATA 3 drives without adapters in the 4 cadies.
    The enclosure will present 4 individual drives to your system via 10Gbps USB-C that you can use various soft-RAID products on to create larger volumes. Works great with Microsoft Storage Spaces (what the unit was originally purchased for...), but also includes a license key for OWC SoftRAID Lite XT on the serial number sticker under the unit that you can download from their site.
