This card was purchased in Cologne, Germany by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this unusual vintage postcard is the portrait of a Smooth Fox or Smooth Jack Russell Terrier and a small brown puppy.  They appear to be best friends.
On the back is no handwriting, stamp or postmark. This postcard was never mailed.  There is a manufacturer's message that indicates that the publisher was
Gebruder Obpacher from Bavaria, Germany.
It was originally made circa 1908.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from very few signs of surface wear and one corner crease this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
