This listing is for a modern (1960's/1970's) reproduction of a GLOVER'S / IMPERIAL DISTEMPER REMEDY / H. CLAY GLOVER / NEW YORK.
There is a "412" embossed on the bottom, while many think this number only applied to the reproductions, there were many different original molds that used this number as well. These were thought to be reproduced using old molds by an Italian company. They made a wide range of colors, I'll call this one honey amber. They can sometimes look blown and crude, other times they look obvious machine made. This one is seamed up through the lip. Would look nice in the farm house window.
