    This is a 3 H.P Shaper with heavy duty power feeder (Extrema 1 h.p.) and precision inverter speed control. The shaper is manufactured by Grizzly (model no. G1026). It has been totally reconditioned with new spindle, bearings, and paint job. Other parts have been replaced, and it performs as new. A heavy duty power feeder was added, in order to use it like a molder. This power feeder can be removed in minutes if needed, but it can be useful in all types of work including the milling of raised panel doors. The power feeder removes much of the danger involved in hand feeding. It also allows for consistent cuts with it's ability to hold the work piece against the fence and table top. We added an inverter, which allows extremely precise speed control and slower speeds for jobs that need more cutting time for a better finish. When you purchase this item, you are essentially buying a single head moulder, but with the added advantage of being used as an open shaper, when needed. The power feeder can be raised up, and swung out of the way if needed. The fence is covered with a slippery nylon material which has less friction than cast iron, and will never rust. Pictured also, you will see a shop built, adjustable ball bearing holding tool which pushes the work piece against the fence when feeding a piece through the cutter head. It has a very low profile and with the power feeder holding the work piece against the table, the operator is free to feed and remove finished items with out having to make sure the work piece is being held correctly while milling. Moldings can be milled effortlessly and safely. Price includes a  wrenches and tools for changing cutters. The sale also includes a carbide, raised panel cutter set. This can be used for making raised panel cabinet doors. The picture above showing the two ball bearing support stands, are included in this sale as well.
