1996 Seadoo HX s.800cc Conversions
Blk/Yellow - 787X motor (about 100hrs) on cradle mount, spigot mounted novi carbs, automotive fuel pump, air fuel separator, duel fuel pickup, coffman limited pipe, racpack egt, full aluminized exhaust pipe to exit, tdr waterbox, driveshaft upgraded to 5 lug dampeners front and back, skat trac 12 vane setback pump and 16/23 swirl, r&d exit and steering nozzle, stock bars widened 2". Top speed about 60-62 in favorable conditions. 7150rpm 91octane WOT EGT's 1050-1075 (yes a little fat, but like the BeeGees staying alive)
White/Yellow - 785 RFI (rotax fuel injection) motor (about 75hrs) glassed into hull, automotive fuel pump and regulator, stock pipe with added water, full aluminized exhaust pipe to exit, resonator only no waterbox, driveshaft upgraded to 5 lug dampeners front and back, skat trac 6 vane large hub pump and 16/22.5 swirl, r&d exit and steering nozzle, umi steering and bars. Top speed about 56-58 in favorable conditions. 6950rpm 87octane (but i used 91)
Both machines were built by hand from scratch by me (former region 5 technical inspector and with the help of a World Champion friend and former pro racer) about 15 and 10 years ago respectively, all internals of the motors were replaced with new except rebuilt hot rod cranks on both. Hulls were completely stripped out. Both HX's were built to the grueling standards of supercourse racing but they were never raced in the current setup. I wanted something bulletproof and fun and that is what they have been. Garage kept and freshwater only. They have been treated and maintained better then any of my previous wives. There is nothing wrong with the machines and I could jump on either and ride 30 miles roundtrip fully pinned in 3' chop (edit: I would have to borrow the current world champion's body), they are great machines but I am approaching 60 and I fell this is my when to say when moment.
Trailer - custom hand built steel C-channel fully welded trailer just for the hx's on 1500# axles, completely functionally and all lights work, new bearings, new tires and wheels with new spare, 5 coats of industrial paint thruout. Trailer will live many generations. However it has never been registered, I simply used the tags from my other double trailer. So no trailer title provided.
Comes with both service tech manuals and doc sheets from build process, extra rfi mpem with key, buckshot 44's on buckshot intake, extra steering, knee pads, rails, gaskets, seals, starters, 2 stock pumps, and anything else related I have (which is too much to list).
